I have promo reel for new western martial arts flick "The Warriors Way". The film stars Korean actor Jang Dong-gun. The action director Yuji Shimomura, he's behind great movies like ARAGAMI, SHINOBI: HEART UNDER BLADE and my favorite VERSUS.
Adding ninjas to a western always makes it better.
FUNimation Announces Cast of Dragonaut
In order to avoid Earth's impending destruction from an asteroid, the International Solarsystem Development Agency (ISDA) works on the "D-Project", and secretly creates weapons called “dragons “. However, they soon find out that the asteroid is not their only threat, as powerful dragon-like creatures appear on Earth. After witnessing a murder by one of the creatures, Jin Kamishina gets involved with the ISDA and becomes a dragon pilot, otherwise known as a "Dragonaut". Helping him on his journey is the mysterious Toa. FUNimation Entertainment will release the series beginning in November 2009.

The Storm Warriors Trailer!
I can't wait for Storm Warriors. I have a full trailer for sequel to hit cult martial arts film Storm Riders. The film stars original stars Nicholas Tse and Ekin Cheng. And villian is being played by Simon Yam. He plays Lord Godless, a ruthless Japanese warlord intent on invading China. Directed by Oxide Pang Chun and Danny Pang. Expect some cool special effects and martial arts action.
That looks like a cool cape.
Darker than Black TV Anime Sequel Green-Lit
I'm a big fan of Darker than Black series. Now, a sequel will be coming soon. The original director Tensai Okamura will be back for TV anime sequel. Funimation release first series and hopefully they'll get this one.

A trailer for Indonesian martial arts film Merantau. The film star new martial arts star Iko Uwais. It looks pretty good. Merantau is the first martial arts film coming from Indonesian in a long time. After looking at trailer, it wont be last. Hopefully, it wll arrive in North America soon. The guy at end trailer gets it real bad.

FUNimation Entertainment Acquires Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
FUNimation® Entertainment has acquired digital, broadcast, DVD and merchandising rights to the megahit anime series “Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood” from Aniplex. “Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood” is directed by Yasuhiro Irie (“Kurau: Phantom Memory”, “Soul Eater”). Romi Paku and Rie Kugimiya will reprise their roles as Edward and Alphonse, though some of FMA’s original cast have been replaced. Roy Mustang will now be voiced by Shinichiro Miki (Asato Tsuzuki, “Descendants of Darkness”). Winrey Rockwell will now be voiced by Megumi Takamoto (Mahou Sensei Negima!) and Riza Hawkeye will be voiced by Fumiko Orikasa (Bleach, RahXephon, Vandread)

Also, it examines human nature of kids and people around them. Evangelion 1.0 is being released by Funimation english dub later. The movie updates original series with new animation and effects.
FUNimation Acquires SORI’s ICHI
Good people at Funimation Entertainment done it again. They acquired varied rights in North America to the Japanese action film ICHI from major entertainment studio Shochiku Co., Ltd. In ICHI, Haruka Ayase stars as the blind musician Ichi who leads a life of solitude as she wanders from town to town. When a village she is passing through becomes hostage to two opposing clans, Ichi must reveal her deadly sword fighting skills to protect the villagers.
Big fan of ZATOICHI franchise. Can't wait.
