New IP Man Trailer
A new trailer for IP Man is here. It has more hitting, kicking and blood shed in this version. It reminds me of Bruce Lee's Chinese Connection. Donnie Yen plays IP Man grandmaster of Wing Chun stlye and master of legendary kung fu superstar Bruce Lee.
Oh yeah, expect allot of punching.
MICHAEL USLAN NY COMIC CON GUEST OF HONOR
New York Comic Con (NYCC) today revealed another Guest of Honor who will participate in its 2009 event -- Michael Uslan, an Executive Producer of this past summer's blockbuster The Dark Knight and a Producer of this Christmas’s highly anticipated Frank Miller film, The Spirit, based on the acclaimed work by Will Eisner. New York Comic Con takes place February 6 - 8, 2009 at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York, NY, and Michael Uslan will appear to host panels and screenings and participate in autograph sessions throughout the weekend.

A martial arts film combing Basketball and martial arts. "Win to survive," "No rules" and "Loose and die". I have to say, it looks pretty good. Unlike Kung Fu Dunk martial arts film. That gives you allot of flashy special effects, you just get some bone crushing martial arts.
I would watch this on ESPN.
New Star Trek Trailer
A new trailer for for J.J. Abrams Star Trek. I have to say, it looks pretty good. The movie movie stars Chris Pine, Karl Urban, Zachary Quinto, Simon Pegg, and Eric Bana. I like in your face spock and fun loving Klingons causing problems. Star trek warps into theaters May 8, 2009.
Now, I can practice my vulcan death grip.
Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince Trailer
The new Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince trailer id here. Voldemort is up to his old tricks. He wants to control Muggle and wizarding worlds and Hogwarts. But, Harry is ready for him and Dumbledore is preparing him for upcoming battle to come. The film hits July 17, 2009 (conventional theaters and IMAX).

VENTURE BROS. CREATORS AT COMIC CON
Jackson Publick and Doc Hammer, creators of The Venture Bros., will appear at its 2009 event. Jackson Publick and Doc Hammer will attend NYCC 2009 as Special Guests on behalf of Adult Swim, the popular late night network which airs the successful series. New York Comic Con is the second largest popular culture event in the United States and will take place at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York City, February 6 – 8, 2009.

A new trailer for Watchmen is here. It looks real cool. The film stars Patrick Wilson, Malin Akerman, Jackie Earle Haley, Matthew Goode, Billy Crudup, Carla Gugino, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Matt Frewer. The Watchmen arrive at theaters to save the world or not March 6, 2009.
I'll be watching the Watchmen.
GEOFF JOHNS AND JIM LEE ARE NAMED GUEST OF HONOR AT NEW YORK COMIC CON
Two more notable comic book celebrities will be joining the festivities at New York Comic Con (NYCC) this year as Guests of Honor. Affording thousands of fans the opportunity to meet them in person, Geoff Johns, who is well-known as a comic book writer of a number of DC Comics characters, including Superman, Green Lantern and the Flash as well as for his work as a screenwriter; and superstar artist Jim Lee, known for his acclaimed artistic runs on titles including BATMAN, ALL STAR BATMAN and WILDCATS, will be attending NYCC to help launch the new Massively Multiplayer Online Role-playing game, DC Universe Online (DCUO), produced by Sony Online Entertainment for PLAYSTATION 3 in collaboration with DC Comics and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.

EMILY ATHENS STORE OPENING ON NOVEMBER 13
Emily the Strange excitedly opens the doors to her latest theme store, in Athens, Greece! The boutique, opening on November 13, 2008, will feature Emily, Emily and more Emily! It will offer entirely Emily the Strange merchandise, including a full apparel line, accessories, toys and footwear. The store, owned by Plastelini LTD, will be located at Ermou 105 kai Karaiskaki, Monastiraki, in Athens.
Featuring an Emily “dungeon” theme, the façade of the new two-story Athens store is enhanced by stone walls and wooden ceiling. Flooring is black wood, and keeping with the Emily tradition, the entire interior is black and red. In addition to carrying all Emily merchandise, the store will feature Emily themed furnishings.

GEORGE PÉREZ TO BE GUEST OF HONOR AT NY COMIC CON
George Pérez will be a Guest of Honor at the show where he will be making his first convention appearance in well over a year. Mr. Pérez is the second Guest of Honor announced for New York Comic Con where he will be joining J. Michael Straczynski whose Guest of Honor appearance was announced last month. Pérez will be appearing at New York Comic Con on behalf of the Hero Initiative, a non-profit enterprise strictly dedicated to helping comic book creators in need. While further details about his participation in NYCC are forthcoming, officials note that Pérez’s appearance will be anchored around a special workshop benefiting the Hero Initiative which will take place on Saturday, February 7, 2009.
